The 14th July, 2019 was very great day in Diocese of Shyira especially Kagitega Parish, where Bishop Sam dedicated their new church building to God and confirmed 156 people from all parishes of Gitare archdeaconry. We thank God as Diocese of Shyira for the great work is doing here.

This church was built with the great work and commitment of Kagitega parish’s members in partnership with Diocese of Shyira and The Booth Africa Mission. This church named All Saints by The Rt Rev Dr MUGISHA M. Samuel.

On that day also the Bishop of Shyira Diocese, the Rt. Rev. Dr. MUGISHA M. Samuel confirmed 156 from all parishes of Gitare archdeaconry. In his speech, Bishop Sam appreciated the work that was done by the christians of Kagitega parish and he gave the a gift of cow.

Bishop also thanked Mayor of Burera for the good partnership with the Shyira Diocese and Burera District, where he (Bishop) delivered medical insurance(Mituelle de Sante) to 30 poor people from Burera.
