Today, 11 February 2024, the Rt. Rev Dr Mugisha M Samuel ordained 7 Deacons to the office of priesthood. These were Rev Moses Mutabazi, Rev Dominque Xavier, Rev Nsanzamahoro Felicien, Rev Mudikoni Simon Peter, Rev Ngaboyisonga, Rev Nkundabashaka Amie Richard, Rev Biganiro Serugaba, all these have been serving in different parishes and have also just completed their theological training .
The preacher of the day Retired Archbishop Emmanuel Kolini reminded the congregation that we all have been called to serve according to the talents given. Our obedience to Christ reveals and empowers to serve well. It was a celebration and joyful worship as the congregation and many visiting families came to join them.
The Governor of the Northern Province Maurice Mugabowagahunde greeted the congregation and and thanked the the Anglican for the good partnership and reminded them of the coming events including the Gorilla naming ceremony.
The Bishop thanked all who prepared and supported the Pastors during their studies and ministry practice and wished them the best in ministry .
