Hospital ministry is one of the department in the Anglican Church of Rwanda SHYIRA DIOCESE” which focuses on the control of activities of Hospitals, Health Centers and Post.
VISION
The common vision of the hospital ministry is to deliver health services to the population including spiritual and physical health.
SHYIRA DIOCESE has the Following Infrastructure:
- 1 Health Centers
- 3 Health Posts and another in process of construction.
HEALTH CENTER
Kimonyi health center is located in Kimonyi Sector, Musanze district, Northern Province of Rwanda. It treats 1,738 people of 4 administrative cells.
It has 8 nurses
1 driver,
1 data manager,
1 community health officer,
1 Accountant
2 Laboratory Technicians. In this year 2021 Kimonyi Health Center is lead by FURAHA Beatrice.
Kimonyi Health Center does the following services:
- Curative consultation
- Maternity
- Laboratory
- Vaccination
- Family planning
- Prenatal consultation
- Prenuptial consultation
- Pharmacy
- VCT/PMTCT
- Simple surgery
- Injection
THREE HEALTH POSTS
Three Health Posts are:
- BUHUGA health post is located in KIVURUGA Sector,GAKENKE district, Northern province.
- BUTANDI health post is located in KIVUYE Sector,BURERA district, Northern province.
- NGANZO health post is located in RUGERA Sector,NYABIHU district,Western province.
GASIZI health post is being built in JENDA Sector,NYABIHU district, Western province.
