- We should know where we are coming from and destination point in Christian life.
- We should be having guiding principles which should help us to be real children of God.
- Youths should be aware of how to lead their lives.

- Jesus is the way for the people who failed in other ways.
- Jesus is the one who decreed himself as Truth and life of world.
- Jesus knows everything that concern us, He is able to rescue us in every trials we go through.
Let all come to the Savior and he wants to be our redeemer in every problem and bondage.

- He will break up all chains from your arms.
- God’s plans never fail and he fulfill the promise.
- God’s restore our hope and encourage you to step forward to our promise.

- God is always calling his people to enter in him.

]]>Rev.Dr Birungibyayesu Medard, He shared from Luke 19:1- 10, Preacher shared his testimony of how he was born in a family of Non believers and polygamous of four wives, life was not easy but God has a purpose for everyone.
Key message was:
- God is hopeful and we must have faith in him
- We are all chidren of God and he is willing to help us and give us new life
- In Jesus’absence we can’t find peace.
- Wealth and other resources can’t give peace to people.
Second preacher was Rt Rev. Ntazinda Emmanuel who shared from John 14: 21 John 15:5-7
Jeremiah 15:19
- He insisted that God want his people to love him and his love is everlasting.
- Blessed is the one who will bear fruit and the father will Bless him with abundant blessing.
- God is willing to change people’s lives and their background for them to start a new journey of faith.
As a result of God’s Gospel 170 people accepted Jesus Christ as king and Savior of their lives.

This Sunday on 17 September 2023, The Rt Rev Dr Mugisha M Samuel officially opened and Dedicated St Peter’s Parish Bugese in the Cathedral Archdeaconry,
He shared from Acts 5:1-12 it’s a story of Ananias and Sapphira who lied about the money received from selling their land and died instantly.
We are living by God’s Grace and mercy not because we are righteous, but God’s Mercy goes with us everyday.
240 received Christ as their Personal Savior .
There was confirmation of 255 members were confirmed and 16 others received from other Denominations.
Thirty Medical insurance cards were given to the local leaders for the most needy families.
It was all Joy to the people of Bugese Parish as they officially opened a new church

Today 1st of January 2024, Christians gathered at St John the Baptist Cathedral to thank God for His Mercy and protection for the past year 2023. The Preacher of the day was The Rt Rev.Dr MUGISHA M. Samuel who shared on the Life of Paul the former Saul who persecuted the Christians of the church and even witnessed the death of Stephen. When Paul turned and became Born again he became a true follower of Jesus and writes to us in Colossians 2:6-7 where he says we must be grounded and rooted in Jesus Christ. This is the Diocesan theme for the year 2024. “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness”. The Bishop summed up by encouraging Christians to avoid whatever would distract them from following Jesus.
He ended by wishing the Congregation a Happy and Prosperous New Year of 2024

Today on 16/01/2024 The Rt Rev Dr Mugisha M Samuel officially dedicated Rutovu Parish and named it St Etienne Parish Rutovu was located in beautiful and amazing scenery of Burera district, Kinyababa sector Murambo Archdeaconry.
The Bishop of Shyira Diocese shared from Colossians 2:6-7 and continue emphasizing that; they must be rooted in Christ and depend on him alone. More than 110 people received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. 74 candidates were confirmed.
The Mayor of Burera was represented by the Executive secretary of the Kinyababa sector and other local leaders.
The Bishop of Shyira Diocese thanked the Archdeaconry leadership, Christians, friends, and partners for the great work done on this beautiful church.

The purpose of the visit was to see the progress of those churches and to support to speed its completion. One of the churches (Kabyaza) is located in the area at
University of Global Health Equity Butaro and the students are part of the congregation.
In his sermon, the Bishop encouraged Christians to give wholeheartedly as one way of thanking God for what He has done for them. His emphasis was from Hagai 1:1-10 (A call to build the House of the Lord).
The day was joyful and God helped everyone in attendance to contribute towards the construction of these churches .
Burera District local leaders were also present.

]]>The Archdeacon of Rugendabare was the preacher of the day, in his message he focused on (Colossians 2:6; 7).
The day was concluded by visiting the new pastors house under construction and see the progress.
This 14th September 2024, The Rt Rev Dr Mugisha M. Samuel, Visited Moma Archdeaconry in Burera District and confirmed 416 Christians. The Bishop shared from Colossians 2:4-10 He emphasized that we must be rooted in Jesus Christ that’s when we grow spiritually.
The Diocese through Moma Archdeaconry supported the family of a Single Mother who has 3 Children by giving her 24 Iron sheets for her residential house. The Vice Mayor of Burera District represented the mayor and appreciated the partnership existing in social economic development of our people in the district.
It was a beautiful day and a big crowd of Christians.

Shyira Diocese in its development and sustainability program embarked on this mega project of constructing a commercial building which will have three levels. It will be among the best and big shopping mall in Musanze District.
We thank God how far it has come, we still have a long way to go. Friends continue to pray for us as we finalize this mega project.
