Moma Archdeaconry started in February/2010 Led by Archdeacon NDUWAYEZU Gaspard it was made of 3 Parishes namely MOMA, NEMBA, and KABONA 1 Sub Parish of NDAGO made of 9175 Christians.

Now it is made of 9253 Christians from 39 Churches 7 Parishes 5 Sub Parishes and 2’627 Homes and 177 Home Cells.

MOMA Archdeaconry is located in BURERA District RWERERE in the following Sectors RUSARABUYE, CYERU, NEMBA, and RUHUNDE and in RULINDO District CYUNGO Sector, It is boarded by RUGENDABARE Archdeaconry in the South, Archdeaconry in Byumba Diocese, in the North it is boarded by GASEBEYA Archdeaconry, It is boarded by GITARE and MURAMBO in the West. It was led by Archdeacon KABARAGASA Jean Baptiste in January/2014 until January/2019; He was replaced by Archdeacon NKURIKIYIMANA Jean Pierre until now.

E.A.R MOMA Activity Summary

We managed to install and wire in electricity and also bought a water tank to support in water and rain fall collection and Harvesting

We are making fundraising for the building of the new sanctuary. We managed to pay and create the Structural Engineering of the Church and some Construction Materials

We are planning to build the new Moma Church as indicated in the  Structural Engineering of the Church

We managed to buy the Land for the new building as indicated in the Photo we have made a survey on how the church will be built

E.A.R BISAGA

As indicated in the Picture this is the old church of EAR Bisaga which is not on Standard. We managed to do the needed survey, study plan and land Survey.

As indicated in the Image the Church is too Old. We started Building the new Church from the Ground up

The Old church was dismantled and we started building the new Church. We managed to stretch our hands and did our best and we build the church on Standard we are still thinking on how to build the Hand washing station, It was named SAINT PAUL RUCONSHO

E.A.R KIRAMBO

Also Named Saint Peter Kirambo

We bought a new land and wanted to build our new church, we managed to buy bricks which will help us in building the new church on Standards We finished the Church now we are still finding a way on how to build the hand washing station

E.A.R MURANDAMO

Also named Church of the Holy Spirit MURANDAMO

The Old church was dismantled and we started building the new Church. We managed to stretch our hands and did our best and we build the church on Standard we are still thinking on how to build the Hand washing station

E.A.R NDAGO

This church was built on the Diocesan Support the Support of the Local Church members was small. We are still encouraging church members to join hands in building the Hand washing stations and finishing with the remaining work.

E.A.R RUSAYU

This church was too old so we joined hands to start and build the new Sanctuary where we got Bricks and stones and still looking for more, we are still fundraising for the Roofing, Doors and windows and the final work of the Church. We know that this sanctuary will be filled with the presence of God.
