HISTORY OF MUKAMIRA ARCHDEACONRY

MUKAMIRA  Archdeaconry started in 1997 Led by Archdeacon RUDASHOBOKA Abel that time it was made of 3 Parishes  namely

MUKAMIRA

RUSAMBU

GATAGARA

And today it has over 942 Christians.

Today it is made of 7022 Christians all from 39 Churches 8 Parishes 3 Sub-Parishes 2075 Homes and 159 Home cells.

MUKAMIRA Archdeaconry is located in the Western Province in NYABIHU District, it works in the following Sectors MUKAMIRA,JENDA,KINTOBO,RUREMBO,RUGERA and also in the Northern Province in MUSANZE District in the following   Sectors BUSOGO,GATARAGA,NYANGE,MUSANZE,KINIGI,SHINGIRO it is boarded in the  West by Bigogwe Archdeaconry in Kivu Diocese. In the North by Cathedral Archdeaconry and in the South by NYAMUTERA Archdeaconry.
